​October fall colors, young love, and beautiful mountain views! We waited all year for this day to come…Stacie and RJ’s wedding at the Old Barn at Homestead in Ona, West Virginia. Double win for us- we got to travel to a new place + shoot a wedding!!!

RJ, Stacie, and Gabe have an amazing family. They laugh together, are patient with each other, and clearly have a deep love. The kind of love that will last forever!

Stacie wanted to create a special memory for RJ so a few weeks before the wedding we started plotting and planning. We worked out all of the details…borrowed a Harley, an Army truck, and even went to an old gas station. She wanted to do a pin-up styled shoot and then create a special book. Based on the size of RJ’s smile when he opened his special box on their wedding day I’d say she NAILED IT!!! This is a small part of our uniqueness and willingness to work with clients to create everything (let me say that again, everything…within our capabilities) they want to help make their wedding day extra special.

Everyone is ready and it’s about time to tie the knot.

Spurlock’s Flowers created the most stunning and beautiful bouquets, centerpieces, and arch design for the ceremony.

They are MARRIED!!!!!….let’s see one more kiss.

It’s finally time to get the party started and of course, bring on the delicious dinner from Ridge View BBQ.

​Here comes one of our favorite parts of the day, our chance to sweep away the newlyweds and take their first portraits together. We have so much fun during this time because we get to see them laugh and talk about getting ready, hold hands, and just spend time loving on each other.

 While we were outside, the guest were having fun with the photo props. Then, everyone moved onto dancing and cake…and cake smash! (P.S. to Sabrina’s Sweet Stuff the cake was on point!) Even Gabe got in on a little bit of icing action.

All great days must come to an end, but the pictures and memories will last forever!!
