We all anxiously watched the weather for the entire week, hoping for fall temperatures and sunshine, and we got both. It was a beautiful day and the entire bridal party was the absolute best to work with. They entertained us nonstop the entire day, plus it felt like we were all just a group of family friends celebrating together.

We are always excited to shoot at Harley’s Haven, in Windsor. It’s a beautiful venue and we love the country atmosphere…takes us back to our roots every time. We had so much excitement built up waiting for Melissa and Steven’s wedding day. Did you see Melissa’s bridals? Holy moly ya’ll they were drop down gorgeous, so it was like we had to hold a secret for months, about how amazing she looked in her wedding gown from David’s Bridal.

Before the wedding we watched Melissa and her dad shed a few tears of joy doing their first look together. We watched Steven write his vows, waiting to see the playful nicknames he has for Melissa – Pookie, Stinky Butt, or Sleepy Head, but he kept it romantic because he admitted she is the funny one.

It’s always a blessing to see a young couple get married, but one thing we know for sure is that they have found that “once in a lifetime love” in each other. Just look at how they look at each other.  Melissa told us that she wished she could show Steven a glimpse through her eyes of how much she loves him and would tell him no matter what she would always have his back. Steven said if there was one extra special thing he could tell Melissa everyday for the rest of their lives it would be, “ I love you as always!”

We believe their dreams to have a home filled with babies (and fur babies) will come true, as long as they always make time for bike rides and pizza nights together. They both work hard and support each other unconditionally. Plus, are loved by countless family and friends.
